How does tracking work?
You get a unique affiliate link like openproposal.live?via=yourname. Anyone who clicks it is cookied for 30 days. If they sign up and upgrade within that window, the sale is attributed to you.
When do I get paid?
Payouts are processed manually via PayPal or Wise once your balance reaches $50. We aim to pay within 30 days of a commission being confirmed.
What counts as a conversion?
Any paid plan subscription (Freelancer $19.99, Pro $29.99, Team $39.99, Agency $59.99) that is successfully charged. Trial cancellations don't count.
Does the 33% apply to all plans?
Yes — Freelancer, Pro, Team, and Agency. The commission is calculated on the monthly plan price.
Is there a minimum audience size?
No. Anyone can apply. We just ask that you only promote to relevant audiences (freelancers, agency owners, Upwork users).
What happens after 3 months?
Commissions are paid for the first 3 billing months per referral. After that, the subscription remains active but you don't earn further commissions on that customer.
