1. Who we are

OpenProposal is operated by Eagleston Limited (CRO: 782100), registered in Ireland. If you have any questions about this policy, contact us at reza@fintask.ie.

2. What data we collect

We collect your name, email address, and profile information when you create an account — either directly or via Google Sign-In. We store the job descriptions and proposal content you generate. We do not collect payment card details directly; payments are processed by Stripe.

3. How we use your data

We use your data to provide the OpenProposal service: generating proposal pages, managing your account, sending transactional emails (account confirmation, proposal acceptance notifications), and processing billing. We do not sell your data to third parties.

4. Google Sign-In

If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google. We use this information solely to create and manage your OpenProposal account. We request only the minimum scopes required (email and profile).

5. Data storage

Your data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted on Neon (US East region). Proposal HTML content is stored in the database and accessible via your unique proposal URL.

6. Data retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data by emailing reza@fintask.ie. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

7. Cookies

We use a session cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. No third-party analytics cookies are set.

8. Your rights

Under GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, email reza@fintask.ie.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email.
