Terms of Service
Last updated: 14 March 2026
1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using OpenProposal, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. OpenProposal is operated by Eagleston Limited (CRO: 782100), Ireland.
2. The service
OpenProposal provides an AI-powered tool for generating business proposal pages. We generate proposal content based on job descriptions you provide. Proposals are hosted at a unique URL and may be shared with clients.
3. Your account
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information when registering. You may not use the service for unlawful purposes or to generate misleading or fraudulent proposals.
4. Your content
You retain ownership of the content you provide (job descriptions, profile information). By using the service, you grant Eagleston Limited a limited licence to store and process that content solely to provide the service. We do not use your proposal content to train AI models.
5. AI-generated content
Proposal content is generated by AI and may contain errors or inaccuracies. You are responsible for reviewing all generated content before sharing it with clients. We do not guarantee that AI-generated proposals will be accepted or result in any particular business outcome.
6. Platform compliance
Upwork mode is provided to assist with compliance with Upwork's Terms of Service, but we make no warranty that use of this mode guarantees compliance. You are solely responsible for ensuring your use of proposal pages complies with the terms of any platform you use.
7. Billing
Paid plans are billed monthly via Stripe. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial months. Free trial terms are as stated on the pricing page.
8. Availability
We aim to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Eagleston Limited is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding any claim.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms. We will notify registered users of material changes by email at least 14 days in advance. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.
